Michael's gift for recognizing these fleeting moments and capturing them in his dramatic use of the camera as a medium is evidenced through out each photographic painting. Each image usually relies on more than one digital photo where light and color through out the composition. This is accomplished with the use of a graphics tablet which supports over 1,000 levels of pressure. This assures the same feeling as using traditional brushes. The "canvas" is painted in small areas, allowing attention to the smallest of details. Typical paintings contain at least 45 million pixels or dots of color. Michael has held photo exhibits in New York, NY and Tucson, Arizona. Michael travels throught the world for his array of photographic images. Weekly updates of new photos can be viewed all year. Look for the next installment of photos from Scotland, Costa Rica, Japan and the southwestern US.
